It does not say if you can keep them in an aquarium. I have seen it done though. There was a kind of diving beetle at one of the museums I saw when I was in Montreal. Slough Shark Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 Yes the Giant Water Bug is what I was reffering to, saw one of those guys at the Pembina River (I think I posted pics) and fell in love. I suppose I will need a fully closed tank so that this guy doesn't get out and attack my dog(s) or me in my sleep, they look like they could dish out a nasty bite. Did your customers tell you much about their keep Christian? I can get live food easily enough... did they house them all year round? Not a lot...I have kept them myself years ago, and just kept them in a 'pond' aquarium, with a sponge filter, mostly natural lighting, etc....lived almost a year, as I recall.
