Pier Pressure
Oh, man, I feel awful for you. Deepest sympathies. Such a simple thing, too. Try not to beat yourself up over it - sh*t happens sometimes.
mitsukuni
Sorry to hear the story - impressive that you were able to tell it to all of us, and take full responsibility. Take some heart in knowing that you've probably saved someone who read your story a similar fate down the road. Here's to hoping you feel Better, Phil
Pier Pressure
As already stated with a 450 gallon tank you have many options to choose from. I would suggest a reef tank - that would be stupendously beautiful. Expensive, too, though. If you decide to stay in the freshwater game, I have a tank load of juvie cichlids you could choose from for free. Three different breeds at the moment - F2 electric yellows, red empress and demasoni. Let me know if you are coming to Calgary. I cannot imagine how bad you are feeling about that kind of loss. I have had tanks go south, but nothing like that.
Stacey
That really sucks, sorry for your losses.

punman
How terrible to lose so much in such a short time. I hope you don't lose interest in the hobby though.
EowynJane
Oh that's horrible! I feel so bad for you. I've forgotten to turn my filters back on to, but I have pretty hardy plain fish and I've never lost any of them due to it. I've done some other pretty stupid stuff though Live and (try to) learn. Kayen
My 2.5's filter is off by accident all the time. But Since its just a betta and a couple of guppies in a planted tank.. well no casualties. Sorry for your loss man, i feel you.
