SerLunchbox
Well what can i say. I just love my aquarium hobby! Join the Calgary Aquarium Society in October and havent' looked back since. I currently have one tank that is 50 gallons that is filtered by a penguin 170, eheim 2213 and a magnum HOT pro w/ bio-wheel. Keeps the water clean for my fish pretty well. As for fish i have the following: 6 kuhli loaches 4 ameca splendins (may be more in the coming days as my mature female looks like she swallowed a grape) 5 angel fish (1 confirmed breeding pair) 1 spotted raphael 1 striped raphael 3 celebes rainbows 2 long finned blue german rams and finally 1 rubbermouther plecostomus. Since the last CAS meeting (this past tuesday, January 25, 2005) i now have lots of plants (those who are part of CAS, yeah, i am that guy) so that is what i got in a nutshell. Cheers
FishManTy
Crap, I don't remember who was buying all them plants... Someone behind me being that I was in the front row with Kyle and Tom. Post you're picture in the People Picture Thread, maybe then I'll remember But either way, Welcome :welcome: You're angels actually give you any fry yet? (Or have any hatch I mean) Ty
SerLunchbox
picture added (well a link anyways) I wish they would hatch some ... but they are getting too scared too fast. I may set a barrier in the tank to help stimulate that wonderful experience of hatching fry from my angels (i don't have the space to give them their own private tank)
FishManTy
Yarr, I remember you now. You plant Hog Go buy some egg crate or like, a 20gallon and get em breeding. I must say that breeding fish is the main reason I have as many tanks and am still interested in the hobby. Im not much of a fan of sitting watching my fish. That seems to get boring fast. SerLunchbox
i love watching my fish ... it is one of my de-stressing methods. When my fiancee will let me get a new tank so i can breed them, it will be nice.
