fatpuffer
My parents sent me an xp3 for xmas...just got it now...told them to send it after the rush! now i have a canister filter for a 45 gallon breeding tank size...i know it is a lot of filtration for that size but i will use the xp3 once i have a bigger tank. took a while to get it together...actually less than 30 minutes to put together but i am anal about the placement so it took awhile. anyways...that's it... js
Tanked
nice filter. I have had mine running for about a month now even though I have owned it for more than 2 years. Bought it for $95.00 U.S and had it shipped to a U.S address but never got around to setting it up. Now have a new 180 so it will be part of the filtration in that tank. I like it much better than my Fluval 404. Rick
Majestic_Aquariums
I really like ours. Was worked great since new, and found it way easier to get going that a Fluval we have-it's a pain to prime. Wouldn't mind getting another someday!

Wouldn't mind getting another someday! XP 3s are awesome. I completely agree about priming. You basically only have to prime them when you first get them (and it is easy) as when you unhook the canister to clean it, it self primes. They have regained my trust in canister filters. When I used to run filters I would have to set aside a night to clean them as they would take so long to get up and running again when they hit the magical 6 month point.
