I bought them as fresh..( i might raise the salinity levels ( but I doubt it)))the species grows in both types ... when raised in fresh water, they dont grow as fast or as big..... They will get huge but so will my parron sharks, arrowanas, redtail cat, marble, cat, tiger shovelnose cat!!!! not to mention all the bass !!!!!! hampala barbs..!!!! and tinfolis!!!
