water paramaters have not changed any considerable amount......

feedings have not changed...

water changes have stayed consistant .....(60-70 gallons every 5 days)

Yes, I have never turned the light off ( bass tank only) in over 2 years but I dont think thats the problem...but Ill consider that as an option

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM???????????????

PLEASE HELP ME?????????????

i agree with fish frenzy but add some aquarium salt as well one table spoon for every five gallons. I have one comming back fro this right know and it finally started eating again last night. The eyes on mine looked more like they were scratched than anything else but my aro was kinda messed up as well.. maybe a little fighting going on... There's always been a lot of talk about salt in fresh water to use or not to use all i can say when there s scales missing fins shreaded and open wounds nothing works better than salt good luck not to many of us on here with peacocks so ineed your to be healthy.

Apparently Its ammonia burn......did a 60-70% water change and added salt, no meds.. . I hope this works.

I just saw this - definitely ammonia burn. Look for whatever dead thing is causing the ammonia spike as well or it will happen again.
