williewonka
Realistically ---nothing. You would have a hard time giving them away. If you have a really large tank and want to rescue them ... offer them a good home. The person selling the tank will probably find it easier to sell the tank without them anyway. Frank
When ever mine have gotton to big , I always just give them away. Some have been over the 15 inch mark. They are hard to get rid of. People with ponds are the best ones to try and give them to.
Silven
Depending on the particular species of Pacu's, some can reach the 4 foot mark and be around 50 lbs. So if you can find anyone with a large tank willing to take them, do the poor fish a favor and re-home them for free. When the get around two feet their personality really starts to show and they become very owner responsive. Very cool fish if you have the room. Ie. indoor or outdoor pond. Fish_Frenzy
Try offering them to a zoo or one of the pet/fish stores with large display tanks. Tammy
