rocker85675 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) for a 6' tank i would look into 2x3' fixtures and use them side by side, the fixures and bulbs should be cheaper too. i just bought a 48" 4x65 watt fixture with lunar lights for 120.00 bucks delivered to my door (included bulbs) so i find spending 400 on a fixture is just too much, shop around... DaveDude77 Posted November 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 That sounds like a good idea but doesn't a light fixture require air flow underneath it to dissipate heat?
