Fishful Thinking
I am thinking of getting a bigger thank, somewhere in the 300 gallon range (72x36x27ish). I have seen the one at Big Als but was wondering if anyone had recommendations for other places in Edmonton where I could get something similar, with overflows and a sump. I know the stores, but am looking for people who have actually purchased from the store. The two factors that I am balancing, as always, is price versus quality. I am thinking on this one that quality is more important. Thanks for the help.

I bought mine from AquaGiant for $900, no problem except holes are in metric and had to wait 2 months. My buddy bought his at Riverfront in Calgary, built by Mitch, he paid 850, two years ago. both tanks are 280 gallons.
rayfong
Not sure also, you could look at building one too. Marine Aquaria, Aquarium Designs Unlimited, Aquarium Illusions can do it.

rayfong
There was also someone on canreef selling a couple of big tanks. a 400 gallon acrylic and a 244 glass aquarium. Don't know if he still has them though. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=45952 Edited November 9, 2008 by rayfong
Parachromis1
Talk to Nick who works at Big Al's. He sells big tanks (same ones al's sells) for like 2/3'ds the price.
African_Fever
Or look at ordering acrylic from somewhere. I'm sure there's enough of us who are 'Tenecor distributors' who could help you out too. And getting a group order might be possible then too. African_Fever
Wholesale prices on Tenecor tanks are NOT cheap (I became a 'distributor' a while back when looking at business ideas). Then add shipping, and pretty sure it would be more economical to get a tank locally made, as long as they're willing and able to warranty their tanks.
