Lance Posted April 16, 2011 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 Chickacoo is an awesome pot hole lake. One of my personal favorite spots b/c of the brooks. I'm surprised you didn't catch any rainbows that are stocked also. I haven't ice fished this lake myself but the lake in the spring/summer is always fun for fly fishing, but be aware that lake is on a bog and you'll be having fun trying to get yourself out of the muskeg if your not careful. I find belly boating to be the best method for fly fishing this lake but looks like ice fishing for the brooks beats getting wet :P. Great fish I must say, beautiful colors on them.
