It's in my room.. and I really want to keep it as silent as possible to get better sleep. Can anyone make some suggestions as the most silent/quiet 33 gallon filters that are around? Thanks! rED O Posted January 6, 2009 Report Share Posted January 6, 2009 here is a picture of a cascade 700 http://www.petsolutions.com/images/200/30101596.jpg there are 3 trays inside One for foam or floss for a mechanical filter a second tray for carbon or if you want more mechanical filter and a third try for a biological filter. How it works? It flows in one tube and comes out the other into the tank. The cascades I have found are easy matince( as far as a canister goes) and reliable.
