RD.
API already markets several other products if one needs to treat for a wider range of bacteria, etc. E.M. Erythromycin™ Powder Fungus Cure™ Liquid Fungus Cure™ Powder Furan-2™ Powder General Cure™ Powder Super Ick Cure™ Liquid Super Ick Cure™ Powder T.C. Tetracycline™ Powder Triple Sulfa™ Powder IMO there are far too many variables involved in each & every aquarium for API to make any specific claims with regards to exactly what these products will, and will not do, beyond the general comments already placed on their labels. As long as one only considers these products along the lines of a liquid band-aid they are fairly safe to use, and can assist in the healing of certain wounds etc. I would imagine that API spends more on the packaging & labeling of those products, than they do on the active ingredients (which is mostly water) so the benefits to them are already huge.
