Tank repair with fish and water still in the tank?

I'd wait to fill up the tank completely. Keep the water away from the trim for at least a few days. I just looked up the time it takes for silicone to cure. the silicone company said seven to fourteen days. The shortest i've ever been told to let it sit is two days. Keep it an inch from the top for a few days no reason to rush it.

Thanks for the timely response. Your about 3 weeks too late.

I filled the tank back up after 24 hrs and had absolutely no problems at all. No leaks, no harm to fish, I even have a female holding now.
