katie
Hey! I just thought I would introduce myself as I am new to this site. I'm Katie and I have a 40 gallon planted aquarium. I became interested in this hobby about three years ago when I started to work at a pet store. I also have two snakes ( a BCI and a Lavender Cornsnake), a tarantula (G. Rosea), a chinchilla, and two cats! I look forward to chatting with you all!

katie
I have yet to learn the names of plants, so I am not exactly sure what is in my tank. I do have a book that eventually I will get out and read about plants so I can learn the names. But I have a ton of grass, this plant that grows huge leaves that look like lily pads, and then there are a few other kinds in there.. katie
Yeah they are awesome, before I had to move my aquarium, my lotus plant grew huge leaves, they had to been at least 8-10 inches in diameter. But it has not growing that big yet, but it has produced many more plants in my tank.
