jesp
I've had a tank for a few years now. Currently I have a 50 gallon lake malawi tank: 1 red zebra 1 cobalt blue 3 juvi cobalt blue (some type of blue mbuna anyways) 1 juvi venustus 1 juvi neolamprologus tetracanthus (lake Tanganyika, purchased as a mystery fish) 2 juvi ob peacocks 1 juvi yellow kenyi 1 johanni 1 Haplochromis obliquidens, gorgeous! (lake victoria) 1 unknown juvi mbuna, mostly bright yellow with blue tint around head I just redid the tank completely. I love the mix of cichlids. They all get along famously, although the lamp likes to chase. Sadly I know that these guys can't all stay when full grown. Does anybody know much about the malawi eye-biter? They fascinate me lately. I also have a 35 gallon planted tank: 7 rummy nosed tetras 3 red rainbows 3 kribs (all female) 1 hillstream loach 1 pleco anubias crypts swords java fern pennywort I am wondering about using fertilizer tabs for my 35g? Never tried them, kind of new to the planted tank thing. I am also very interested in finding breeders in calgary so I don't have to give all my money to fish stores anymore. Just a poor student trying to enjoy some fish. Cheers

Wingin' It
:welcome:! Must be a very colorful tank! I think as long as you keep 'like-sized' fish in with the eye-biter you'll be fine.
werner
I am wondering about using fertilizer tabs for my 35g? Your crypts and swords will appreciate root tabs. I like the Flourish ones- Seachem makes good plant stuff. Welcome!
