rayfong
that was interesting Jason.... how often do hermits change from shell to shell... and why? Not sure how often they change shells but they do have to find bigger homes when they outgrow their old one.
jvision
I have seen a group of about 50 in a tidal pool on Vcr Island that were changing shells constantly. It was quite funny b/c one would check out a new shell and jump in, then another crab would jump right into the shell just vacated; then the first crab would jump into the shell the 2nd crab just left. VERY entertaining!
Blue-Wolf
that was interesting Jason.... how often do hermits change from shell to shell... and why? I honestly don't know much about them, but from what I understand, they will change if they have outgrown their current shell, or if they find another shell which 'strikes their fancy' a little more. Corey James
Cool film, we have a bunch of blue, black, and red legged hermit crabs and it is amusing to watch.
