RTG_Gerry
New aro, Chili Red from Qian Hu Farm. He's about 20 cm/8". Just landed him in my tank last night.... Now all I need is a 24K gold xback and a purple fusion to round out the collection, lol.

boydo
Long Pec's, very red lips, and big fins! You pick a winner! You can already see a little blush too....... And of course congratulations!
RTG_Gerry
Thanks, everyone. I don't normally post a pic like this let alone take it, but I was having some trouble using overhead flash at lfs, so I used a flash off the camera. I know it's not a natural look and certainly not my style, but the flash does a nice job of showing the base colours. boydo or anyone else, can you tell which colour will be it's dominant base colour? And one in my tank with overhead flash. I managed to get the blush a bit better in this one. Edited June 1, 2009 by RTG_Gerry
letsgofishn
Hey great catch, that pic at the LFS looks like something I would do, LOL!!! Nice aro.
boydo
Very hard to say at this size....but with markings, shine, and hue shown I would guess green or turquoise base color.

tonton
nicee fissshhh!! cant wait for mine now. great pics too! what kind of lens/set-up are you using? i know you won the POTY for MFK. great shots again
RTG_Gerry
Thanks guys! tonton, I used a 105mm f/2.8 lens with 2 overhead flashes. He's not really keen on the flashes so he tends to zoom through the "lighting zone" I create with my flashes. I'm just not getting the full blush in my photos just yet, but it's only a matter of time. As for POTY on MFK, I'm going to try to get it back 2 back, lol. boydo, thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.
