Baos
For the first time the algae really is dieing back and I'm seeing some great growth on the plants. an inch a day from one. I'm open to suggestions on improvements. background wise I just have not found anything I like, and I don't like background pictures. Jaykit
Hope all that algae clears out. I spray painted the back of my tanks a nice blue. It looks great and brings out the other colors in the tank as well. You could try spray painting black too. You never have to worry about watermarks on the back of the tank either which is always nice.
jvision
I like to paint the backs of my tanks black - I just use spray paint on the outside of the tank. But, since you have it all set up, a garbage bag or posterboard could be taped to the back.
Slough Shark
I would use black construction paper or the like, that way you won't get any reflections (for photography, aesthetics, etc.), as with a garbage bag. Nice, wild tank by the way
