fatpuffer
you can get dwarf sized snakehead such as the rainbow sh here in alberta. I got mine from chums, but petland here in red deer has a few full grown rainbows (bleheris). I find that bleheris to be more colourful that the gachuas. how much would shipping cost from u.k.? not cheap considering shipping just from the states already cost an arm and a leg. if you want bleheri's contact the local fish stores in calgary...i know riverfront has some but very pricey...check golds and chums as well. if you cannot find any contant ellie a. from this board, she is the manager of petland red deer and can hook u up with some sh. js

fatpuffer
yes they are dwarfs but different species...most "dwarfs" are channa gachuas and rainbow sh are also dwarfs growing to a max of 6-8 inches in aquaria. they are similar species except that one is more colourful and breeding is different as well. bleheris are bubble nest and gachuas are mouth brooders. make sure u get a rainbow and/or gachuas sh...not redline or marble sh. js
Toirtis
2£ is not a good deal....that works out to about $4.75/fish Canadian, and shipping even 10 from the UK is going to ding you at least 40£ ($95 CDN) plus whatever extra charges customs charges you....you will be lucky to get away for (assuming you buy 10) $15-$20/fish. They are legal eveywhere in Canada except Ontario.

rudy
Channa lucius Run about $10 at golds. They have had Bleheri for $20, and gaucha for about the same. Not expensive at all.
