I Thought At First It Was Just Part Of Him Coloring Up As He Is Still Young But This Morning He Was Swimming Sideways And The Red Was Even Brighter But I Noticed A Single Red Dot Not Far From His Dorsal Fin .... Anyone Know What This Might Be From ? The Poor Lil Guy Did Not Make It So This Is Not Something Im Trying Ta Cure But Yet Get Familiar With What This Is So I Know How Ta Fight It If I Come Across It Again Blake
Zebra
It could be a symptom of severe fin rot. Is the red along the edges of the fins or carrying all the way through? It may be too late to save him, but some Maracyn would help things along so that is what I would do.

Gazoo
These Are The Only 2 Pics That Show Up Any Good .... Ya Can See The Bright Red In The Spine , Tail Fin , Anal Fin .... Could it be that it came from a tank with High Organic solids??? Like maybe the osmotic pressure within the creature is out of balance. How are the gills, pink or red? I'm thinking of it like the fish is somehow bleeding.. Edited January 4, 2010 by Gazoo
