rED O
I have a quick question for anyone who might know the answer to. Would putting pellets in a bag, vacuum sealing them and tossing them in the freezer be better or increasing the shelf life or leaving them in there original bag sealed? fatpuffer
I would just leave it in the original containter and freeze it. BUT less bulky if you use the vacuum method. Js
snaggle
If you vacuum seal them you can buy in bulk and make smaller bags that will increase you over all shelf life. Also vacuum packing will incease shelf life because of the lack of O2 in the bag.
RD.
Dustin, how long are you planning on storing the bags of food? Generally speaking as long as the bags are sealed tight, and stored in a cool dry environment, you should have no issues. If you plan on storing over 1 year, then freezing the food is probably not a bad idea.
