fishclubgirl
Jewels, you king of plant geeks!! I'm thinking nesea as I did have some of it before. I think the ammania may have thinner leaves and stems but I'm not sure. Perhaps there's more informed geeks like Werner who can help us out

jewels
Wow - thats close. (, , , if not correct) The cross-venulation is bang on. The young Ludwiga leaves are showing rounded tips and mine are all subulate/lanceolate from the get go. Also the ludwiga stems seem quick to branch @ the nodes; whereas mine will not This the most demanding plant I have ever encountered. Painfully slow growing.( a non-ludwigian characteristic ) Any luck with this stuff FC♀ ? Does anyone have Ammannia senegalensis, Ludwigia inclinata, or Golden nesea ? I will mail you some for comparison.
fishclubgirl
You mention my "luck" with this stuff. Not too much as it's floating at the top of the aquarium. -01- Might try it in my highest light tank that seems to grow "difficult" plants. Really wish I had some more room so I could do a big tank with metal halides!! Maybe I should consider a bunk bed!!
