strayner Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 I'm using an aquaclear heater and on the tube it shows the max fill/min fill lines, so i've always followed that. I always see picture and videos with peoples heaters fully submerged, ie, the top part with the temp adjustment below water. The heaters work fine fully submersed and in fact work cooler so they last longer if they are mounted horizontal just above the gravel.
