jvision Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 KNO3 cannot be sold dry anymore. It has to be mixed into water. I was used to buying 1L of dry KNO3; this time it took them 1/2hr to dissolve it into 4L of water (aparently it doesn't dissolve readily in high concentrations, so it needs to be mixed into boiling water slowly).
