Please help with my pleco

Could some one help with my common pleco (refer to the pictures)? (The white spot on the neck)

I guess it is external parasite, but i don't know how to treat it. It's been like this more than 2 days. He's still active in swimming and eating.

I also notice some abnormal white thing on the side of the belly.

PH 7-7.5;

NH3 = 0;

NO2 = 0;

NO3 = 30;

I think you'd need some better pictures. From what I can see, it might just be a little scratch. I don't have experiences with external parasites though.

Within a week or so, it should be healing up if it is indeed a scrape.

An detailed description about what the bump looks like might be helpful as well, the image is a little blurry, and I'd hate to see you waste money on a simple scratch, or lose your fish because someone gives you wrong advice.

take the pleco out and look at the white spot with a magnifying glass that should give u a better look to see if its a parasite.

I see those on my common pl*co from time to time.

They seem to heal soooo , , I would not panic.

There is no heater in my tank and noting to sharp - I really do not know where it comes from.

All the above advice is good.better.

to be on the safe side i would still go to petsmart and grab some aquarium healing salt that stuff works great
