I was thinking of getting a course blasting sand for my 175 when I set it up again. Blasting sand should be all one size grain with no 'fines' shouldn't it? What do you all think? Ruadh Posted October 26, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2010 (edited) According to Target, they sterilize the sand before they screen it and, I think, sand blasting sand is almost all the same grit in any given bag. jvision Posted October 26, 2010 Report Share Posted October 26, 2010 I have started using red Garnet that I picked up at Manus Abrasives in Sherwood Park - I get the grit size 16/24, which is a mix or coarse and fine particles.
