corrosionjerry
Does this tank come with everything a person needs to have a small sw setup that will last? What would a dummy who has never set up a salt water tank need to get it up and running?
Wingin' It
kinda, you'd just need to be diligent on the water changes since no protein skimmer...also maybe replace the lights and add a heater.
devocole
Jerry. In my opinion. They are a good concept but poorly developed. The light they come with is less then adequate unless you want a non planted tank with dark gloomy area's in the corners. Even with the lights redone DIY style i still think that most are lacking. Also yes you would need to put a heater in. And cleaning the unwanted calcium deposits in the difficult areas would not be fun or easy. jvision
I can't remember where, but I've seen one set up - it could have been at a store, or it could have been on CanReef. Cale262 had a thread about how he'd modded his Edge to be a pretty decent tank - I think his set up would come closest to being able to go SW.
