bigbadbrent
I am running a Aquaclear 70 on my 33 gallon, it says it has a 300 gph flow but I highly doubt it with the amount of flow, so I added a nano powerhead. Do cichlids like a bit of flow? Thanks again
syno321
If you do have Tanganykan cichlids in the tank just know that they do come from a lake that has miminal circulation. They don't mind some circulation but shouldn't be battling a torrent on a constant basis.
Neesmo
i have a mix of victorian, tangs and malawi in our 170 with pretty high turnover with large powerheads. Of all the fish, the catfish are the only ones that seem to enjoy the current. the malawi and the tangs tend to stay away from the current all together
bigbadbrent
Thanks. I figure with the powerhead at 240 gph and the filter going at 300(which I doubt) I should have a good turnover but not knocking the fish against the far glass.
