kirridge
Hi I have heard a lot about this supplement but mostly about use in saltwater fish food preparation...my question is...can it be used with freshwater fish, must it be fed or just added to the water as a preventative measure? Any remedies for ICK treatment would also be appreciated. Is remove charcoal, increase tank temp and treat with medication the best method of treatment? jvision
If I ever get ich, I will raise the temp to the mid 80s (increasing aeration if necessary) and add 1tbs of salt (sea/aquarium) per 5gal. No meds required, IMO.
RD.
If you are feeding a quality pellet or flake food, there is no need for products such as Selcon. In fact, it will be a total waste of money. If used to supplement frozen food, different story.
