geleen Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 I want to use a mag drive 1800 for submersed sump use. It uses 135 watts, so not too bad in that department. The head will be 10 feet and I should get about 800 g/hr Does anyone use this pump or have information on durability with continuous use? Any info is appreciated. jvision Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 I've used a few Mag Drive pumps in the past - am using one right now. I like them, only once did one start to need a kick start to get going (not even sure if it was a real Mag Drive, or a Chinese knock-off); and, that was after a few years of use... and I bought it used.
