MarkoD
honestly instead of starting a thread every time you could just keep asking questions in the thread you made previously. you dont need any overflow if you're going to have a canister filter. and why are you going so big as your first tank? why dont you start off with something smaller to get your feet wet and see if you really like it, instead of investing all this money only to find out that you might not have the time or love for keeping an aquarium

jvision
Go big, or go home!!! If you aren't going to run a sump, then you don't need any overflows, like MarkoD says. If the tank is going to be Eurobraced, then see if the guy can leave a couple 3" gaps along the back - most canisters come with clamps, or some way of attaching the hose to the tank as it loops over the top; if there is Eurobracing, you could have trouble attaching the clamps.
