I had a scheduled maintenance for my FX5, swapped it out for one which was already cleaned. Cleaned up the dirty one & let it sit for the next schedule maintenance date. jvision Posted April 4, 2011 Report Share Posted April 4, 2011 I'm with Cate. Usually, if something is in the impeller compartment and dries, it can keep the impeller from spinning. Take off the impeller housing (the small section that sticks out from the bottom) and clean out the impeller. I find that I have to do that about once per year on my FX5.
