jjt1
Does anyone know where I can find Fluval Peat Fiber? I used to use it a few years ago but can't seem to find it anymore. Thanks.
ty_s
would not any peat fiber from a lfs work?
jjt1
Yeah, any brand would work fine - I had only seen it by Fluval before. All I have seen lately are peat pellets and granules. Anyone know where to find some?
jvision
I use peat from the garden section of the big box stores like Home Depot or Rona - just put some in a nylon/pantyhose and you're good to go.

Hippoherder
Jiffy peat pellets should work fine. You can get them anywhere now with gardening season getting started. Just cut the casing off after you soak them. You shouldn't need to use the whole pellet. I just picked up 30 pellets for $5 at Superstore. Someone sells them on aquabid.com. They have always been there when I look. Thanks. I need it for a killie spawning substrate.
