White Out
I was feeding my cichlids this morning when I noticed my dominant blue was missing. I looked everywhere, and, on a hunch moved a smaller ornament. To my horror he was trapped underneath it, and looks really beat up. Is he going to make it or should I end his suffering? My heart is broken.. I raised from such a small size to what he is now and it kills me to see him like this He's still breathing and moves slightly time to time, but not really moving much. The other fish are leaving him alone for the time being (4 other cichlids) edit: he seems to be moving around a little now. not just laying there. pagani
Water change, add salt, heat up the tank. Divide him from the other cichlids.

AvianAquatics
I hope he makes it through as well How'd he get stuck under it in the 1st place?
White Out
I wish I knew I'm glad I didn't just shrug off the fact I didn't see him at feeding time in the morning. I think he swam into it, and couldn't get back out as it's kinda small.. and he isn't. He's swimming around such but not eating yet. Hopefully a nights rest will do him good and he will recover. White Out
Thrilled to report that a few days later he is swimming around like normal, eating, and his eye is recovering. He looks a little "bruised" still on his body but its getting better too. Thanks AA!
