Mikky
We just got a new place, it has approx a 1 acre pond. Anyone have any suggestions after we get it aerated? Love to hear them.
Mikky
It is out by Buck Lake, Alberta. If that makes any difference anyways.
jvision
If you're wanting to fish it, maybe rainbow trout would be fun! So would Yellow Perch! Do you know if it freezes right to the bottom? If not, then you could do goldfish/koi. There are lots of little fish that you could use as annuals to keep mosquito popultions down. Locals have said they used to skate on it until the house was built then the top of the pond stayed open all year round. But they pulled the aerator when they left so we are going to put one up. I'm excited! Haha
