Pufferpack
Here is the 4th species of FW puffer I presently care for Auriglobus modestus - Golden Puffers. I house a pair (Cheech & Chong) in the 35 gal with my dwarves and S/A's. These are a very active puffer (even more so than the S/A's) that spends the bulk of their day searching the tank for foods. They are by far the easiest puffer to feed that I have come accross, they eat anything that passes their line of sight , live, frozen, flake, pellets etc. In the wild they are reported to eat seeds that fall into the water and my pair does like the odd floating cichlid pellet. Here they are in the QT just after I got them last year. a little blurry, but they hardly ever stay still Here is a better shot of Cheech Such happy puffers, always smiling And last the only decent shot I've been able to get of Chong....zippy little booger. well that's it from the Puffer palace for now, stay tuned to this station for the upcoming series "Loaches, Loaches, everywhere Loaches".
