Iceturf
Was looking at the tank closely for a bit today and I noticed some peculiar behavior. I've recently displaced some plants and their just floating around, so maybe some territories have gotten mixed up, but I just saw a mother endler chase down and consume whole a large fry. Woa! I didn't know these guys ate their young, haven't noticed this before. Anyways, very vicious and I think its not just that one fish doing the munchy munchy. I should seperate these guys before they eat all of the next generation, but I don't really have the time right now. Weird though, I've fed them twice today (2x more than usual). Guppygirl
Since guppies and endlers are related, and some guppies eat there young then yes endlers can eat their young. With lots of plants and hiding spots many fry should survive.
