heff
I've got a 10 gallon that I'm going to be relocating in my office. Is it generally enough to just remove the water and huff it to it's new location. I plan on supporting the bottom of the tank the best I can so it doesn't tear the seals, but is there anything else I should worry about? laurensdad
drain the water and move it do not grab the top rim to pick it up. oh ya if you can do it with 3 or so inch of water you might be able to leave the fish if not take out the fish Edited July 15, 2011 by laurensdad
jvision
I've moved 10gals that are 1/2 full countless times - no problems, unless your tank is REALLY old... but, I still doubt it'd break.
heff
All appeared to go just fine. I wound up draining it right down to the substrate and taking nearly every living thing out (some little stub plants stayed in there).
