MbunaFan
This started as a white area on his body, somewhat circular, now it's an open area and the other fish appear to be picking at it. He appears healthy otherwise, acting normally. NO2 and NO3 levels are good. Trying to add a picture but not sure how. I don't have a hospital tank set up at the moment. Any idea what I can do or how I can identify what's going on? Thanks
PistolPete
First step would be to seperate. Get a breeding net or divide off asection of tank. if you catch them picking on him when your around, you can imagine what happens when you arfe not around. Wingin' It
I'd seperate, medicate, and watch. Doesn't sound good though.
aquabrain
I believe there are a number of diseases that can cause lesions (is that what you meant by "open area"?). Columnaris is the first one that comes to my mind. It can cause patchy gray areas that turn into open sores. Maybe research Columnaris symptoms and see if they match your case? Best of luck with treating your fish. Keep us updated!
