DanGofCalgary
http://www.screwcumber.com/ I've had one of these for a while, but just tracked down the source and sent away for a few more. These things are AWESOME. For 2 packages (2 to a package, so 4 total) I paid ~$16.50 when converted from British pounds (paypal gave the conversion to be roughly .68 USD per British pound). Best idea ever ( from Jim of the CAS), I tied fishing line to it and to a bobber so I just lift it out when its done. Just thought I'd share. I've never seen the equivalent to these in stores here. Has anyone else? Thanks Dan Edited September 16, 2011 by DanGofCalgary
Vallisneria
Neat idea I just use a little fork that I attached to a piece of fishing line. Stab the zuchini with the fork and toss it in.
BettaFishMommy
i've seen those before. i just use a fork. even leave it in the tank when there's no zucchini on it. i love it when non fishy people come over and ask why there's a fork in my tank. i tell them i taught my fish to eat with utensils, lol! never thought to tie a string/fishing line to it though, good idea. Cgy_Betta_Guy
I have seen them as well... 4 bucks a pop seems a bit excessive but who am I to judge another expense in this hobby?
EowynJane
I just usually use clips with suction cups and either stick them to the side or let them sink. I might try the fork idea though... and hubby has lots of fishing line.
Guppygirl
I use a stainless steel spoon- and ram it into the zucchini. No sharp points.
