fishclubgirl
So I'm "jarring" my red dragon spawn as they are adults and I need the tank for my latest spawn. As they are siblings, they have been kept together since birth with no serious fighting. If I didn't need the tank, I would've just left them in there. So once some of them were jarred and saw the other bettas, all kinds of flaring and nest building started. It's like they know they're behind glass and "safe". And yesterday, they were in a tank with 20 other males and got along.....

aquabrain
Don't any of your younger bettas get depressed after suddenly getting jarred? (though it doesn't sound like the case here, lol) I can never adjust mine from a tank to a jar "lifestyle" without some sorta issues
geebs
Any pics of what they will look like?
fishclubgirl
Bettas can get depressed after being "jarred" if they're bored or cold. My guys and gals live in a warm laundry room with lots of other bettas to flare at and have clean jars too. They seem pretty happy!! I will attach a pic but keep in mind, I'm a betta breeder not a photographer. Edited January 19, 2012 by fishclubgirl
