blink
So, this is maybe a stupid question but I figure it's better to ask than blunder along in ignorance. I recently got some Artemia food and it says on the packet it's for feeding brine shrimp which like saline water as I'm sure most of us know. Well, I've got some flower shrimp which are filter feeders and I was told that this food might be a nice supplement to their diet but being skeptical I thought it better to ask here. Can I use this stuff in a fresh water aquarium? Will it provide any benefit for my flower shrimp or my red cherry shrimp? Thanks!
ckmullin
I cannot see any harm. I would think it would be great for your purpose as it is high in protein. Was it that dry powder stuff...perhaps green in color?
blink
That's it, green powder in an odd little triangular container with a handy dandy spoon! My spoon is too big!

ckmullin
I've always liked OSI products. Never had any problems in the past.
jvision
I had some kicking around for years that I ended up feeding to a Daphnia culture with no ill effects. I'd say you're safe.
