425nm Posted April 27, 2012 Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 (edited) I was fortunate enough today to score a free protein skimmer I'm new to salt so I'm not sure of the make nor exactly what parts I need for it. Its missing the pump and I was wondering if any could suggest a good one to plumb on there. Here's a picture: It'll be going on a 29 gallon. If you're going to be using it as a HOB skimmer it will flood your floor in no time. Get yourself a higher quality unit that comes with a pump.
