fishclubgirl
So I've got a new spawn of bettas who are too little for bbs. Am trying copepods and rotifers as I haven't had much success witrh infusoria. Anybody have any thoughts on these foods???( and kudos to Sprucegrove for giving me a sample pack of food!! Came in quite handy when I needed it!)
fishclubgirl
Update 2 weeks later, the betta fry have been fed 2x a day with these and seem to be doing well. I'll start bbs soon but was very pleased with the copepods and rotifers for the first couple of weeks.
joeysgreen
What are bb's? Were the rotifers and copopods that you tried frozen or live?
fishclubgirl
BBS are baby brine shrimp and copepods and rotifers are dried. Sprucegrove knows more about them.
Aysha
How did the experiment go? I have live copepods for my marine inhabitants, I had no idea you could buy them dried, My salties just love them! They're small enough for fish fry? Yes I know this thread is old.
