CatWhat
I seen this snail in my 55G a few months ago and haven't seen it since until today. Just wondering what type of snail it is. It doesn't really look your typical " Pest Snail ".
SuperGuppyGirl
Malaysian trumpet snail is what it looks like to me. They can get pesky but on the whole don't. They burrow into your substrate and eat deitrus and are live bearers. Can be very useful as a clean up crew and cichlids like them as a tasty snack. madagascariensis
If it is a Malaysian trumpet snail, then when you see one there likely are 50 more. Try stirring up your gravel or shining a flashlight into your tank one hour often lights out.
