blink
My wife and I have become fond of bettas and I'm particularly taken with the gladiators but I've never seen one locally. Are they just giant plakats? Will they adapt to Edmonton water? Can they be found or will I have to ship one in? http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/betta-gladiator/
Jmak
My wild caught Betta Gladiator pair is doing very well in Edmonoton water at 78 f, very nice fish. They have not bred yet but I have my fingers crossed. I got them from Big Al's Edmonton; ask Michael to bring them in for you.
SuperGuppyGirl
They look like a wild type betta to me. Thinking this is strictly a order in betta unless someone has been breeding ...
jeremoose
Wow, now there's a Beta I could get on board with!
fishclubgirl
I was really into the giant pks a couple of years ago and bred them too. Interesting fish!! Unbelievable jumpers, recover from dropsy and my pair had separate bubblenests and fry. I do know the costs on "wild type" bettas is very low and I have seen them offered as giants too. Jmak...good taste!!
