Bruno
I considered one of these but the reviews I found on them weren't so great.
Bruno
So I ended up trying the Aquaclear's and while they arent completely silent, the noise level is alot better. I put a AC50 on each of the 20 Gallons and a AC70 on the 37g
octopusfilled
+1 for AC! One of my (shared) tanks has an AC 30.. The little wheel that changes the.. Distance between the filter and the back wall. It used to rattle a little, but shoving some wool roving in there quieted it up a little. Happy it's working for you. jbenchzer
In my opinion make sure the water of the tank is topped up close to where the filtered water is flowing. If you keep the flow of water from the filtered water not dropping into the tank it will be quite. Canister filter will have humming sound. With a 37 gallon I would use the fluval c3 or aquaclear. As long the water level is high.... once the water level is met u shiuld only jear whisper of mechanical sound of the rotor or the motor. Hope thay helps. IronChefItaly
For hang-on-back filters I HIGHLY reccommend the fluval series.
