aquadweller
I have/had pond snails in my big tank (225g) and I agree if the fish is not overfed the snails don't seem to be a problem. I also have a 20g tank with some snails in it. the not overfeeding is the trick. I occasionally crush couple of snails and the shrimp and fish love them! the snails tend to come back.... ckmullin
I won't ever do this to my MTS however I also crush up a nice fat pond snail from time to time...the shrimp treat it as cotton candy.

The_Little_One
Solution:Get one small Dwarf 'Pea' Puffer. If there's pond snails around he'll leave your shrimp alone while keeping your tank pest-free.
