I called them and they said they were only stocking lobsters... Do you know if there's actually CPO there? -

How often do they 2 for 1? -
Yeppers. Back from tour and looking to find some CPO for one of my tanks. Ideas on best places to ship from? Cheers.

Just noticed that Big Al's in Calgary has a tank full of these little guys. Very hard to come by. Might wanna check them out.

Couldn't Find A Suitable Section For This Question...

There's been some pretty rad newts on Kijiji from time to time. Even free at times. I think it sounds like you're going for a riparium/vivarium - and that's a brilliant plan. There's some Red Claw crabs always at PetSmart that would LOVE for you to save them. White clouds, endlers, and least killifish would be awesome additions IMO. -
If one or two Dwarf Puffers can evade the Piranhas... presto. You could always sink some lettuce overnight and pick it out in the morning (it'll be COVERED in snails).
-
Humane method - quick and fast. Don't prolong the suffering.

Your RCS should be fine IMO. Either way, with your water params and the desire for an engaging fish, Dwarf Puffers are the way to go. You could easily house some cheap Ghost Shrimp in the tank for a fraction of the cost, and they'd be able to handle themselves against the puffers. Ramshorn snails can keep the tank clean and provide a food source for the puffers - and every now and then you can toss in some bloodworms for a nice treat.
-
I would highly recommend a Dwarf Puffer/Pea Puffer. They are one of the most interactive, curious, and all around enjoyable fish I can think of.

Wow. Those are gorgeous! What is that beautiful plant growing in the foreground of your CRS tank? You run dual sponge filters in each tank?
-
Schweet! I'd greatly appreciate that. I love seeing how other people have their tanks setup and how well they appear to function. Mucho gracias!
-
What brand is it? Do you have any photos of your setup?
-
Very interesting! That's super helpful.

What are these stackable sponge filters of which ye speaketh!? I must know. Please.
