DanTheMan
Great job on the cave! It looks natural and inviting. The clown looked as though it may want to book a stay in the pleco mansion. I know my clown loaches would be crowding the door to use this cool cave. Hopefully the pleco will appreciate the effort and set a move in date shortly. LOL
Bruno
Looks great, and actually not as much of a flintstone house as I expected from your description. Glueing gravel on was a great idea
JayWho
Thanks!I am happy with how it turned out. Most importantly, the pleco actually hangs out in it!

flyboy_9
I'm very impressed too. I tried to make some PVC caves and glue sand to it and didn't it didn't work out near as well.
JayWho
One of these days I will probably pull the pvc I have in the tank out and try the same thing, attaching gravel with silicone, to make it blend in a little better. It didn't seem to be a problem with the rubbermaid - I was just very liberal with silicone and used LOTS of gravel. (obviously in the pics you can see I did miss some spots though)Do you think if you sanded the pvc first to rough up the surface the silicone would adhere better?
